Megan Conway, Editor-in-Chief, Review of Disability Studies: An International Journal; Assistant Professor, University of Hawaii, Center on Disability Studies
Megan A. Conway, Ph.D., is faculty of Disability Studies at the Center on Disability Studies (CDS), and Associate Faculty of Special Education, at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. She serves as a core instructor for CDS’s Disability and Diversity Certificate Program. Dr. Conway received her doctorate in Special Education from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2001. While at Berkeley, she became increasingly aware of the problems facing individuals with disabilities as they pursue higher education and employment, leading to her interest in improving postsecondary education and employment options and supports for individuals with disabilities. Dr. Conway served as co-PI on a disability and employment project, EmployAble: World Without Barriers. Dr. Conway also has strong interests in disability studies as it relates to law and public policy, sociology, poetry and other creative works, and technology.
